Born in 1956, a graduate of the Moscow Institute of Chemical Engineering as a mechanical engineer.

Additional education: a certificate in Integrated Management Systems from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the Russian President; a certificate in ISO 14000 Environmental Audit from the Centre of Environmental Safety of the Russian State Environmental Committee; a certificate in Efficient project management using PMI and IPMA techniques from the LANIT Academy; a certificate in Introduction to ISO 9000 from Bureau VERITAS; a certificate in IFC Performance Standards from the IFC; a certificate in HSEC Integrated Management System: Theory and Practice from SE Solutions, South Africa; Bre Global Assessor Training Course under BREEAM International Scheme from BRE Global.

The owner and CEO of SNANECO Group since its creation in 1992. Personally leads SHANECO’s largest projects. The author and moderator of a series of lectures on project management and application of the PMI standard in Russia. A member of the Committee for Natural Resource Management and Ecology of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. A member of the Green Construction Council. An honorary environmental worker of the City of Moscow (2007). Professional competence focuses on environmental impact assessments and environmental due diligences.

In SHANECO, he was directly involved in the company’s largest projects:
-    Development of the Balkhachsky gold-bearing zone (2011-2012);
-    Substantiation of the sanitary protection zone for the Moscow Oil Refinery (2007-2009) – as project manager;
-    Substantiation of the sanitary protection zone for the Omsk Oil Refinery of Gazpromneft (2009);
-    Phase I and II Environmental engineering surveys and a due diligence of reconstruction of a metallurgical plant, Ryazan region (2007);
-    Development of environmental sections of the Voronezh Master Plan (2006);
-    Development of environmental sections of the Kazan Master Plan (2006);
-    Komi Aluminium project (2004-2007);
-    Environmental substantiation of the Desnogorsk development concept, Smolensk region (2004);
-    Development of environmental sections of the Aikhal and Udachny Master Plans (2001-2002).

Regularly participated in state environmental expert reviews arranged by the Main Department of Natural Resources of Moscow, and the Moscow departments of Rosprirodnadzor and Rostekhnadzor (2003-2006) as a commission chairman and an expert.
